TÜV NORD Germany

One of Europe’s largest independent testing, inspection, and certification organisations. Vivant’s 50-48 thermal break series was submitted to TÜV NORD for independent performance testing — results validated against EN 1886:2007.

The TÜV NORD mark means performance data has been verified by a party with no commercial interest in the outcome.

EN 1886:2007

The European standard specifying mechanical performance requirements for air handling units. Four independently tested criteria.

Thermal TransmittanceHeat flow across the panel frame. Lower value = better-insulated frame and higher AHU energy classification.
Air Leakage ClassVolume of air bypassing panel joints under pressure. Sealed nylon joiner interfaces reduce leakage vs all-aluminium frames.
Structural StrengthFrame withstands operational pressure differentials without deformation.
Filter Bypass LeakagePanel-to-frame interface seats without gaps — critical for cleanroom and pharmaceutical AHU applications.
